Genuine-fit washing machine micro switch SML terminal 4.8MM to suit Fisher & Paykel models, supplied as part number FP018A.
The micro switch (out of balance switch) is located under the main PCB. If the contacts corrode, the switch will appear to be open (O/B) and the motor will not rotate. The machine will not spin or it does not fill as the bowl rotates on filling for the load sensor. It will start to rotate and fill and then stops, repeating this a couple of times, The switch needs replacing if this happens or there is corrosion at the spade connectors. As for the removal of main PCB, before removing the wires, take a picture of the connections for ease of replacement as they only fit the correct way.
